Coe Manufacturing and Coe Newnes/McGehee Will be Managed as One Under the Industry Trade Name of CoeThe acquisition of Newnes/McGehee from CAE by the majority owners of Coe Manufacturing was concluded on August 16th as previously announced. The two organizations, Coe Manufacturing and Coe Newnes/McGehee, will be managed as one under the industry trade name of Coe. According to Darryl Dillenback, President & CEO of Coe, "This combination creates a world-class provider of sawmill machinery, technology, and systems solutions to the Forest Products Industry. Our customers will certainly benefit from the distinct advantages of this joint product portfolio and service excellence capability. Coe's ability to put 150 technical resources, 100 field service technicians, and 35 parts support people at our customers disposal 24/7 is unmatched and in fact unique to our market segment. Operationally, the process of integration and adopting the best practices of the two organizations is underway. We intend to keep these activities transparent to our customers, but to improve our performance in several ways. We will continue supporting the large installed base of machinery at both companies customers, and we will also be striving to develop meaningful advances in technology that benefit customers and add value to their processes."
