Coe Group Formed

Tigard, Oregon, U.S.A. - 2 April 2004
It was announced at Portland's 2004 Wood Technology Show and Clinic, that Coe Manufacturing and Coe Newnes/McGehee would join forces under the Coe Group umbrella. Long in the planning, it is the first step in integrating the unique technologies, talents and expertise of the two companies.

This first step will see D*TEC Scanning & Optimization and Coastal Planers combine strategies with the Coe Newnes/McGehee solid wood product and service offerings. The integration will allow the Coe Group to offer the customer a complete lumber mill from log breakdown thru package outfeed.

The commitment to Customer Satisfaction remains our number one priority. This restructuring will allow the pooling of technical expertise in Scanning and Optimization technologies, which will result in superior product offerings in all sectors of the industry.
